ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT (EIA)

An EIA report is a planning document required by Abu Dhabi laws to assess a project’s environmental impacts and outline needed mitigation and monitoring measures.

WASTE REDUCTION REPORT (WRR)

A WRR develops best practices to reduce waste in line with UAE regulations. It identifies the type and amount of waste produced, recommends corrective actions, and guides proper waste management, reduction, and reuse according to the Centre of Waste Management’s requirements.

CONSTRUCTION ENVIRONMENT MANAGEMENT PLAN (CEMP)

A CEMP is a site-specific plan ensuring proper environmental practices during construction. It is adaptable for different projects and regularly updated to meet industry requirements. It is intended for developers, contractors, and subcontractors working on major construction projects.

ENVIRONMENTAL ACTION PLAN (EAP)

An EAP outlines corrective and preventive actions to address issues found during inspections or audits. It covers air and water pollution, noise, waste, hazardous materials, and resource use, combining engineering and administrative controls with potential cleanup activities.

OPERATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT PLAN (OEMP)

An OEMP is a site- or project-specific plan that ensures proper environmental practices and controls during the commissioning and operational phases.

DECOMMISSIONING ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT PLAN (DEMP)

A DEMP is a site-specific plan detailing environmental management, remediation, and monitoring during and after a project’s decommissioning. It is prepared based on an approved Terms of Reference (TOR).

MONITORING REPORTS (MR)

An MR summarizes continuous or periodic environmental monitoring results. It must be submitted regularly to EAD as required by permits or management plans, especially for facilities that may discharge pollutants into air, water, or soil.

ENVIRONMENTAL AUDIT REPORTS (EAR)

An EAR summarizes findings from environmental audits conducted to monitor the impacts of industrial or development activities. It must be submitted periodically to EAD as required by permits or management plans.

PRELIMINARY ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW (PER)

A PER is an assessment tool required under Federal Law 24 and EAD guidelines to evaluate environmental impacts and propose mitigation measures for new projects. It supports EHSMS Framework requirements, and EAD may request it during the environmental permitting process.
